INEC finally releases the list of Governorship, House of Assembly for 2018

Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has finally release the list of governorship, House of Assembly candidate from across different states

The letter was sent by INEC on Friday, there have been controversies following the outcome of primaries in some states over the names of candidates submitted to the umpire.

In Ogun State, the candidate that were supported by the governor are:

Hon. Adekunle Akinlade,

Bode Mustpaha’s.

Mr Lawal Shittu was also listed as one of the candidate who would contest for governorship and also a member of People Democratic Part (PDP) and also Reuben Abati who is the former presidential spokesperson as his running mate. While In Cross River, Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Usani Usani,

While Senator John Enoh was listed as the candidate of the APC, the sitting Governor, Ben Ayade was listed as the candidate of the PDP.

In Imo State, INEC failed to publish the name of the APC governorship candidate when Kelvin tv visited the INEC office on Friday it was observed by our reporter that the list were about 67 candidate from different various political parties.
