Some Biography of Peter and Paul Okoye (Psquare)

Popular musicians known as Psquare were born in Nigeria and they attended St. Murrumba Secondary School in Jos, at the time of their schooling they join their music school and a drama group they lead them to began singing and also dancing which was related to MC Hammer and also Micheal Jackson also are R&B base on they are said to be identical twin brothers Peter and Paul Okoye on December 2011.

Later they formed an cappella quartet called MMPPP M. Clef a.k.a Itemoh, Michael Melvin, Peter and Paul) during the time of Michael jackson they began break dancing which lead them to form another group called Smooth Criminals in 1997.

Later in 1999 they returned to music school which help them to develop more skills on keyboard drums bass and rhythm guitar they released their first albums through Square records. Where they sign a deal with Akon’s Konvict Muzik label in 2012 and also they signed with record distribution deal with Universal Music’s in South Africa branch.

  

Then on September 25 2017 it was reported that psquare group were disbanded which lead peter to send a termination letter to the group’s lawyer and later in 2016, the group disband supposedly over a disagreement about the role of their manager.

They applied to the University of Abuja to study Business Administration in smooth criminals disbanded after that they left and formed their own called Double P “P&P” and Da Pees until they eventually settled on P square. They manager named Bayo Odusami aka Howie T was a seasoned concert promoter and also CEO of Adrot Nigeria Limited.  

Peter and Paul released their first album in 2005 Get Squared under their own label square records. Which was marketed nationwide by Tjoe Enterprises? Though they were still managed by Howie T of Adrot Nigeria Limited, then after the second video they were held #1 position in MTV Base for four weeks.

P-square released their fourth studio album Danger which they featured 2 Face Idibia, J Martins and Frenzy called “Danger” it is a hip hop song. Later they were named the artist of the year in 4 April 2010 at the Kora award in Ouagadougou, Burkina-Faso while they were in London that year for a concert at Troxy where they received the sum of $1 million Dollars as their award in Ebebiyin city.

Their personal life

After dating for seven years Peter Okoye got engaged to his longtime girlfriend Titilola Loretta Omotayo  

which is a marketing representative on 17 November 2013 they had their traditional wedding at the Ark in Lekki Lagos, Nigeria whose who attended his traditional wedding were Aliko Dangote, Emmanuel Adebayor, Kate Henshaw, Genevieve Nnaji, Rukky Sanda, May D, Toke Makinawa, Dr Sidi and Don Jazzy. While Paul Okoye Anita Isama while attending the University of Abuja.
