The present minister of Works and also ex governor Babatunde Fashola SAN, on Monday been the 10th December 2018 has putting a blamed the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for not accepting Federal Government projects across the country. He also made a comment saying that when he was inspecting the project which is been located at the feral secretariat at always Anambra state that he is not happy with what he saw.
Adding that people democratic part should be more concern on the collective of destiny, jobs and prospect he also added “That’s why most people are now suffering today. Because their are no jobs. But we (APC) are trying to bring back smiles on the faces of Nigerians.”
After taking about 18km down to Umunya of the Onitsha Expressway would be completed in 25th May 2019, while the Federal Secretariat, would also be completed next year. Babantunde Fashola said the current President Muhammadu Buhari government has also added those projects to his region because it was one that the past governments failed to complete base on corruption that occurred in the country.
Fashola also added in his statement that:-
“They awarded the contract without paying contractors and when you don’t pay contractors, you create problems down the labour ladder.
“For instance, the contract for this federal secretariat was awarded in 2012 by the previous administration without making funds available for its completion. If the money meant for it was not stolen, it would have been completed before now.
“We are bringing back what was denied the people in the past to them; that’s the difference between a development administration and a corrupt regime”, the minister stated.
